License Terms

All articles published in IJTRM are made available under clearly defined license terms so that authors, readers, researchers, and other users understand their rights and responsibilities regarding the use, sharing, distribution, and adaptation of published research.

Open Access License

Articles published in IJTRM are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).

Subject to the terms of this license, readers may:

  • Read, download, and print published articles free of charge.
  • Copy and redistribute the published material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the material for non-commercial purposes.

Two principal conditions apply to reuse:

  1. Attribution: Appropriate credit must be given to the original author(s), a reference or link to the applicable license should be provided, and users should indicate whether modifications were made to the original work.
  2. NonCommercial: The material may not be used for commercial purposes except where separate and explicit permission has been obtained from the appropriate copyright holder(s).

What This Means for Authors

Authors retain copyright ownership of their published work. By publishing with IJTRM, authors grant the journal the necessary non-exclusive rights to publish, distribute, display, preserve, and make the article available under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license.

Publication in IJTRM does not transfer copyright ownership from the author(s) to the journal unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise.

Authors remain free to:

  • Share their published articles on personal websites, institutional repositories, subject repositories, and academic networking platforms.
  • Reuse their own work in subsequent publications, presentations, lectures, or teaching materials, subject to appropriate acknowledgment of the original publication.
  • Distribute copies of their articles to colleagues, students, collaborators, and other researchers for non-commercial academic purposes.

What This Means for Readers and Researchers

Readers and researchers may freely access, use, share, and adapt articles published in IJTRM for academic, educational, and research purposes, provided that the requirements of the CC BY-NC 4.0 license are satisfied.

Commercial use of licensed material is not permitted under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license without appropriate permission from the relevant copyright holder(s).

Attribution Requirements

When reusing content published in IJTRM under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, users should:

  • Credit the original author(s).
  • Provide an appropriate citation to the original article, including relevant bibliographic information such as the article title, journal name, volume, issue, and publication year, where applicable.
  • Provide a reference or link to the Creative Commons license.
  • Clearly indicate whether any modifications, adaptations, translations, or other changes were made to the original material.
  • Avoid suggesting or implying that IJTRM or the original author(s) endorse the user, adapted work, organization, product, or subsequent use.

Commercial Use

The CC BY-NC 4.0 license does not authorize commercial use of the licensed material.

Where a proposed use falls outside the permissions granted by the license, the user should obtain the necessary permission from the applicable copyright holder(s) before proceeding.

Questions concerning permissions may also be directed to the IJTRM editorial team where appropriate.

Third-Party Content

An article may contain photographs, illustrations, figures, tables, datasets, extracts, or other third-party material that is not covered by the article's Creative Commons license.

Where third-party material is excluded from the CC BY-NC 4.0 license, the applicable copyright or licensing information should be identified in the article, figure caption, credit line, or other relevant location.

Users wishing to reproduce or reuse such material beyond what is permitted by applicable law must obtain permission directly from the respective copyright holder.
